Reports: Projects open/active/closed

I want to get reports for the number of projects open, active, and/or closed in a specific date range.

• Currently the projects report is not filterable and only displays the current number of projects. Since a project's state isn't constant, it is difficult to determine its status from a set date range. I.E. In the same week, a project could go from "Open" to "Active" to "Closed". As a result, we are only able to show the projects' present status. 

• Alternatively for getting the Project's 'opened' during a specific time we can make use of the 'Project's Launch' date which is the day that the draft project was published and can potentially provide insights on when the project was open.  
• You can see the 'Project's launch' date: Dashboard > Projects > Launch date.
