Integrate YouTube Live

Learn how to stream a live YouTube video on Social Pinpoint.

This tutorial will take you through a few easy steps, including how to create a YouTube Live stream and embed it on your Social Pinpoint site. This allows you to host events such as webinars, presentations or other events live with your community.

To live stream, you need to have no live streaming restrictions on your YouTube account in the past 90 days, and you need to verify your channel.

To start live streaming:

  1. Go to your YouTube account.
  2. From the top right, click Create and then Go live.
  3. If you haven't already, follow the prompts to verify your channel.
  4. Enabling your first live stream may take up to 24 hours. Once enabled, you can live stream instantly using the Go live button.

To embed a live stream in your page:

  1. Right click on the video screen and select copy video URL.
  2. On your Social Pinpoint page, open the toolbox and drop a Video tool on the page.
  3. Select YouTube and paste in the video URL.
  4. Save.
