Fund It Tool
The Fund It tool gives your participants an imaginary 'budget' of either dollars or points and gets them to 'spend' that budget on potential projects they want to see funded.
Participants vote on a predetermined list of projects with a set price and that price is deducted from their overall budget.
Participants can only spend what is in their budget so can only fund a portion of the projects from the list. They are forced to make trade-offs between what projects to fund, and which not to fund, which reflects the real-world constraints and limitations and provides value to the engagement process.
A range of reporting metrics helps you understand the outcomes of the funding or voting activity and even provides suggestions about which projects, if funded, would satisfy the greatest number of participants within the nominated budget.
💡NOTE: The maximum number of projects is set to 50.
Notice the below example has fixed costs associated to each project.
Notice how in this example, participants can slide a scale for how much they want to spend on each project.
